Bored of events like paper presentation,quiz and seminars.

Here is a list of fun events useful for any civil engineer in his lifetime.
But yeah, You'll be requiring some support from your branch lecturers,HOD and student branch like ICI,ASCE..etc in conducting a few.

EVENT 1.
Stick It Up
1. Maximum of three members per team
2. Materials will be provided on spot(selefon tape, 100 ice cream sticks, fevicol)
3. Participants can bring their own fevicol/tape/scissors.
4. No extra sticks/substitutes to be used. If used, then it will result in disqualification.
5. Structure with the most impressive and outstanding architecture wins.
6. Judges decision is final.
7. Registration fee /- per team.

 EVENT 2.
CARD STRUCTURES:
1.A team of 3 members.

2.The teams have to make a design using cards that can withstand more weight

3.Playing cards-2 sets, fevicol and a thermal base will be provided.

4.Stapler and staples are not provided
JUDGEMENT CRITERIA:

1.Height of the structure

2.Weight the structure holds

3.Aesthetic view
4.
The model will be judged on the basis of most innovative design and also on the time utilized in doing.

EVENT 3.
DR.CONCRETE

Cement, water and aggregates. Mix them right and you get the revolutionary concrete. Sounds easy? Think again.

Round 1: Prelims

Round 2: Using suitable method of mix design, calculate the mix proportion for given volume of concrete.

•Fresh properties will be verified by event judges.

•Three cubes have to be casted and the casted cubes will be checked for one day compression strength next day.

•Team of maximum 3 members.

•Use of calculator is allowed.

•IS 10262: 2009 will be provided.

EVENT 4.
MAD CAD (AUTOCAD)

You think you’re an expert at AutoCAD Drafting? This is your place then.
We bring to you a chance to not only flaunt your designing and marketing skills but to win exciting prizes too!

Round 1– Prelims.
Round 2–Top scorers will be qualified for this round.
Topic will be announced on spot and will test your AutoCAD, planning, designing and marketing skills.

Team of maximum 2 members.

GROUND ZERO (SURVEY)
Angles, heights, length and more. Get them right to know your site.
Round 1: Prelims.
Round 2: Further round to be intimated during the event to test surveying skills in terms of speed and accuracy.

VASTU PRAKARA
